Personally, I struggle with the idea that life is to be one of comfort and ease. This is an ideal that we are taught to strive toward. Or is it a part of our very human nature? When our life does not meet the ideal that we have for ourselves we either become discouraged or we strive all the more to defeat problems and setbacks reaching for our goal. Reality?
I try to bypass my human nature to find and live within “reality”. Again, we must, personally, ask ourselves, what is “real”? To live with inner peace and be content in whatever situation we find ourselves at any point of time we must keep our focus on what is truly “real”.
I want to make perfectly clear that I enjoy making money just like anyone. There is nothing wrong with working hard and making good decisions to provide for your self and your family. We need people with money to help others and, yes, they will be able to live with more comfort than others. The problem arises when people of wealth turn their dependence on their wealth. Remember, even the wealth of the richest person on earth is temporary.
When we fix our emotions and dependence on our present situation we set ourselves up for an eventual “fall”. As we ponder how the peoples of this world live in all the various places we must come to the conclusion that life truly is not the same for all. The fact is people are born into different situations, people use their gift of freewill to make choices (good or bad), people use their gift of freewill to affect others (good or bad), and the course of nature in this broken world such as weather and earthquakes affect us all. Our present situation is temporary.
Who is Nate Grahl ?
Nate Grahl is by definition a “realist” (some may beg to differ). Of course, I become happy and excited when the situation is amazing and I am very thankful for those moments. I also find myself focusing on the situation when problems arise or tragedy strikes. At times my situation has changed throughout my life in an instant. I have found that I must stop myself in those moments. Sometimes I need help from others to help me stop. This is the reason why a person must surround oneself with people who have the same focus. I must stop myself and re-focus on “Reality”, beyond the temporary. What is really important?
Yes, there are the very rich and their life seems to be without strife. There are the poor in certain areas of the world that live in worse conditions than many of our animals. Like I said earlier this world is broken and is not fair. The world was created to be fair and glorious for all but man’s sin against our Creator God from the beginning left this world broken and in its present state.
God is NOT responsible for our situation. The devil, also known as lucifer or satan, and his demons are responsible for the chaos along with our freewill choices. Man gave the devil charge over the earth when he sinned against God in the beginning. God’s glorious earth has been broken by man ever since but . . . God has a plan!
Nate Grahl believes and trusts in the Word of the Holy Bible. You will find this fact throughout my writings. I find my inner peace and security in God’s Word. This present world is simply temporary, Everything will pass away. That is reality. It’s OK! God has a plan!
