People have many things or people that they place in high regard. Sometimes people place them so high that these things become like a god to them. God calls us to have no other god before or above Him. Who is this God that is jealous for our love and admiration?

Paul referred to God as the “Unknown God” to the Greeks. The Greeks worshipped many gods just like people worship many gods today. Whether we know about Jesus Christ or not, God expects All mankind to worship Him and Him alone.

A person begins to worship God by admitting that a Supreme Being created the earth and all things because you recognize that this intricate creation could not have happened because of a “big bang”.

Then you must make a decision to worship the God of Creation and not creation itself like the sun, moon, trees, animals, people, stone, creations of men, etc. If you worship the God of Creation, you have found God because you are seeking Him and you recognize who He is, the Creator of everything.
