The definition of “gave” is the past tense version of give. God has given or gave us the Way, the Truth, and the Life. The Way is Eternal Life with Him through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. The Truth is His written Word through His prophets of the Old Testament and disciples who walked with Him of the New Testament. The Life is the wonderful life with Him on this earth and in heaven for eternity.

God has given you your path to an abundant life for you in advance. He is right next to you in Spirit to guide you down your path of an abundant life. 

God has given us the freedom to choose. So many times we allow our inbred sinful nature to guide our decisions. These incorrect decisions or sin lead us in the wrong direction and our perfect path is forever altered. God is constantly working with you to make something good of your life even though you take wrong directions. 

You are also affected by other people’s sin as well. All sin has stolen the perfection that God has meant for all mankind. Even within all this imperfection God’s desire is to continue to guide you down a correct path that will bring you a good life.
